Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Uptify ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar storage technologies when you access or use our website (uptify.site), public status portals, documentation hubs, and developer APIs.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and maintain secure user authentication sessions.

2. What Technologies We Actually Use

Uptify prioritizes privacy-first engineering. We do not use third-party cross-site advertising cookies or behavioral ad tracking networks. We utilize only the following categories of storage:

Strictly Necessary & Authentication Cookies / Tokens

Used to verify your identity across domain boundaries (e.g. uptify_token and session JWT storage). Without these tokens, you cannot log in, manage projects, or edit monitor configurations.

Functional Local Storage

Stored locally in your browser (e.g. localStorage) to preserve UI preferences, active studio tabs, and cookie consent choices.

Internal Anonymous Diagnostics

Used strictly for server error tracking, automated security rate limiting, and uptime probe verification without selling or profiling your personal data.

3. Managing and Disabling Cookies

You have the right to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies or alert you when a cookie is being sent. Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent authentication into the Uptify console.

4. Contact & Inquiries

If you have questions about our use of cookies or tracking technologies, please contact us at: [email protected].
